Returns & Exchanges

 

We want your online shopping experience at Sandbar Boutique to be exciting and fulfilling ... finding exactly what you want at the right price, the right time and delivered with excellent customer care!  Our desire is that you're absolutely elated with your every purchase!  However, if you're not completely satisfied, you may return your purchase to us within 15 days of receipt for a prompt and courteous refund or exchange.  Please note original shipping charges are not refundable.  We ask that you carefully review the return, exchange and cancelation terms below prior to placing your order.

15-Day Return Policy

We graciously accept returns postmarked within 15 days of receiving your purchase.  

Returned merchandise must be in its original condition and have the original manufacturer and/or Sandbar Boutique tags attached.  Merchandise must be unworn, unwashed, undamaged, not dry-cleaned, or defective.  Items stained or otherwise compromised will not be accepted for return.   Returns made with the original packing slip will be refunded using the original payment method.  If you do not have the packing slip, please call our Customer Care Specialists to arrange for refund at the item's selling price at the time of purchase.  Sandbar Boutique reserves the right to determine whether or not item(s) will be accepted for return.

 

EASY RETURNS BY MAIL

If the reason for the return is due to our error - wrong item shipped or item is defective, there is no additional shipping charge to you.  Please call our Customer Care Specialists at 248.987.4811 or email us at customercare@sandbarboutique.com to request a Prepaid Return Shipping Label.  If, however, you ordered the wrong item, didn't like an item, or you've changed your mind and want to return an item, you may mail the item(s) back to us at your expense.  At this time we are not charging re-stocking fees.  When returning an item at your expense, you have the option of using the carrier of your choice and creating your own label.  If you prefer this option, we highly recommend using a form of trackable and insurable delivery as we cannot be responsible for lost or damaged returns.

 

Original shipping fees are non-refundable.  Returns should be accompanied by a packing slip. Without a packing slip, customer must call our Customer Care Specialists to request a refund for the item's selling price at the time of purchase.  Please be sure to fill out the return/exchange section at the bottom of the packing slip, check off or otherwise indicate the "reason for return" next to each returned item and include packing slip with your merchandise return.  Please allow 7-10 business days after we receive the returned item for your return to be processed and your account credited.

NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS

Please note the following items cannot be returned or exchanged:

 

  • Merchandise marked as final sale

  • Clearance merchandise, ResortWear, or Jewelry unless received damaged, defective or we sent the wrong item

  • Merchandise stained, worn, laundered, dry cleaned, damaged or otherwise compromised

  • Sandbar Boutique reserves the right to determine whether items will be accepted for return.

Exchanges

Love your item but you ordered the wrong size or color?  You can exchange it for the same item in a different size or color (if available) within 15 days of purchase.  Simply return the item at your expense (see Returns above) and we will ship the desired size/color item at no charge to you. We allow only one exchange event per item due to ordering wrong size or color.  You will need to circle the item(s) on your packing slip that you wish to exchange and indicate the size and color you prefer.  Please note the exchange must be for the same item (same style number, just different size or color).  Please be sure to indicate the reason for exchange and include the completed packing slip with your exchange.   If the size and color you want are not in stock, you may obtain a refund.  Returned or exchanged merchandise must be in its original condition and have the original manufacturer and/or Sandbar Boutique tags attached.  Merchandise must be unworn, unwashed, undamaged, not dry-cleaned, or defective. Items stained or otherwise compromised will not be accepted for return.

 

We thoroughly inspect all of our items upon their arrival to our warehouse, as well as before shipping to our customers.  However if you receive a defective or damaged item, or if we shipped the wrong item, just contact our Customer Care Specialists to obtain a prepaid shipping label so you can return the merchandise.  We will gladly exchange for the same item in the same size & color with no additional shipping charges.

 

If the item you want is no longer available, once we have received and processed the returned merchandise, you will receive a prompt and courteous refund in the original payment method.  Please allow 7-10 business days after we've received the merchandise to process credit card refunds.

 

Please note additional shipping charges will apply to the following exchanges:

  • You decided to exchange for a different item

  • Changed your mind

  • Ordered wrong item

  • Didn't like item

 

Your new merchandise will be shipped out as soon as we receive your return.

PREFER A DIFFERENT ITEM?

If you wish to exchange an item for a different item within 15 days of purchase, it will simply be treated as a return and a new purchase with the customer responsible for any applicable shipping charges.  Please place your return as outlined above and place your new order online or by calling our Customer Care Specialists.

 

Once an order enters the fulfillment process and is being prepared to ship, the order cannot be canceled.  This usually takes place within 24 hours after the order is placed.  If you want to cancel an order, we suggest contacting our Customer Care Specialists as soon as possible after placing the order. UNDELIVERABLE PACKAGES

We make every effort to verify residential addresses prior to shipping.  However there may be times when packages are returned to us as "undeliverable".  Undeliverable packages are subject to re-shipping at buyer's expense, and original shipping charges are non-refundable.  

 

INTERNATIONAL

We are now shipping to Canada, however we are unable to ship to other countries at this time.  If a return is due to our error, there is no additional shipping charge to our customer.  Exchanges are not available for international orders.  If a customer desires another item, or perhaps the same item in different size or color, the transaction will simply be treated as a return and a new purchase.  Customer is responsible for any applicable shipping costs.
